About
Join us at Buncrana Cinema for a special evening celebrating the rich musical heritage of the Inishowen Peninsula. Featuring the Inishowen Trad Chamber Ensemble and Inishowen Trad Choir, this concert brings together traditional music and song from across the peninsula. The evening will feature arrangements by Martin Tourish of music collected by Honoria Galwey in the 19th century, alongside traditional songs preserved through generations of local singers and given new life through contemporary arrangements. From beautiful instrumental melodies to songs rooted in Inishowen’s singing tradition, Twixt Foyle and Swilly promises a memorable evening celebrating the music and heritage of the peninsula.
